SEBI: Every company is obliged to reasonably respond to any letters or summons to be issued by regulator by furnishing required information and/or documents for a smooth investigation, unless such a request/demand by regulator is shown to be outcome of ill-will, or is tainted with malice and/or is otherwise arbitrary in fact situation of a given case
