Department can’t demand tax more than what is shown in the invoice after rounding off

ST/ECJ : Amount of tax to be collected by Department cannot exceed tax declared on invoice and paid by final consumer to assessee, if rounded amount of tax corresponds as closely as possible to that arising from application of rate in force
