Credit can't be denied merely on basis of doubtful purchases

Cenvat Credit : If department alleges purchase transactions as bogus but does not carry out requisite verifications, such transactions can, at best, be regarded as 'doubtful' and benefit of doubt would go in favour of assessee; hence, credit cannot be denied
