Import of goods at higher value doesn't imply acceptance of such higher value by importer

Customs : Merely because importer has cleared goods at enhanced value to save demurrage charges or otherwise, by itself, does not mean that importer is consenting to enhance value; it is right of importer to contest enhancement and fact of clearance of goods, cannot preclude importer from exercising right of appeal
